Another project we accomplished was the procurement of a submersible solar pump with transportation and horizontal installation. The project took place in Humusit Bellessa, located southeast of Gondar in the Amhara region, 333 km northwest of Addis Ababa, the country's capital city. Because of the weather changes, the region faces frequent and severe water shortages. This project has focused on providing sufficient drinking water using a submersible solar pump with a discharging rate of 3.48 liters per second at a head of 134 meters. The pump was set horizontally, which gave us additional experience in submersible pump settings.
